Is This Really Racist and Homophobic?
The original understanding of the event was that it was just like, well, disco sucks. And then we look back at it in hindsight and we're like, actually, this is really racist and homophobic quite openly. The deeper and more troubling question about this is how did you end up at what was sort of six inches away from a book burning? That's a much harder question than whether or not the guy who organized it homophobic or not.
