As a data scientist, you or data engineer, you really want to have a holistic view of that data. Having the holistic view about your model performance and the data set on specific edge cases is key. For example, I've built multiple versions of your model and they perform differently. And then from that comparison, you can say, hey, this model is better than this one. But this model can be better on some other objects than thisOne. So that gives you a right idea how your models are and what you need to do to improve both on different ways.
