The Law Is Contrary to the Promises of God

The law was given through angels and entrusted to a mediator. Paul is intentional when he points out that the law is not opposed to the promises of God. If it could accomplish the same thing as the promise, it would have been given at the beginning. But scripture has locked up everything under the control of sin. So what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe.
