I'm almost always creating a new variable based on whatever I'm doing outside of my map. So I tend to not use even just loops overall. If you are trying to add data to an existing data structure, that's what your map filter reduce are for. And like that's what I prefer to use for some reason over for loop. They used to use to be a rule. Don't use for loops are awful functional programming till death. Whereas like it's good. You're going to be it's freeing. It feels good.
