How Has the Opioid Epidemic Progressed?
The opite epidemic started, as i said, in dreamland with pharmoseutical companies and pain specialists promoting this idea that pain pills could now be prescribed to pain patients without any risk of them getting addicted at all. But after dream land was published, what you really began to see is the vim sore the underworld, primarily the mexican trafficin world, switch and come to the realization that growing drugs doesn't make any sense. A far, far less risky, far more profitable thing is to make synthetic drugs with no plants involved, made in it in a lab. We're now fully in the era of synthetic drugs.
