I think that at some level I knew that my feelings for men in a physical sense and attraction ways were stronger than the ones for females. But it was not impossible for me to be in a female relationship in that way. And so I was able to really get by and not confront it until after college. It's funny to look back on though, that knowing it's because you were not sexualized yet at that age.
