George St. Pierre was never the best boxer or wrestler, but he could integrate those techniques together better than anyone else. The great lesson of George's career is this more important than any fighting techniques that you employ is the integration of them. And I lived my life that way. That still doesn't make your dedication any less exceptional. We saw him pop people with a jab that were better boxers than him. He could intimidate strikers with his takedowns. Then with wrestlers, he could use set ups to takedowns, which they never had. So even though he wasn't the best wrestler, for many people with far greater wrestling credentials than him, they could never cover distance on him.
