The Importance of Reading in the Classroom

The Appalachian is a four-year degree program at New York University. Students and tutors work together on the same subjects, with no majors or departments that separate them. The books have been tried and tested for now since 1937 when the new so-called new program of great books began. And over that time we've really discovered the ones that work in the classroom that you can read, and really deserve the Appalachian.
