Is There a 1.5 Carbon Budget?

I don't think that we were ever on track for 40, 45% reduction during the course of this decade. I think we will end up by 2030 with maybe a 15 or 20% reduction from the peak in whenever the peak is. So capturing carbon dioxide from ambient air that will always require energy. But there are very promising approaches to improve the energy efficiency of the process.
