The Role of Police Training in Mental Health
The issue of mental health has become is growing exponentially, and especially around our young people. More and more of the police's call out and interactions with the public relate to mental health. Mental health on its own is not criminal, so they need to be better equipped and better trained for it. We're not here to beat the police. We never have been. But what we need to do or what we want to do is to make change, positive change so that other families don't have to live this never-ending nightmare."
