The Screwball Comedy

The screwball comedy tends to do a good job of showing the failure of complementarity. The central idea is not as often plays out in romantic comedies today that like these two unlikely people actually fit perfectly together. It's you're attracted to and pulled by the thing that would complete you but it's also the thing that undoes you right? We'll come back to this more at the end we talked about at length in the episode we did on screwball comedy.
