People want to grow on the job, up, down and sideways. If we don't pro actively think about ways to help people grow within our organizations, trust me, they are going somewhere else to get that new opportunity. One of my favorite rituals is a professional development ritual from a company you to me. Once a month at 3 o'clock on a wed Wednesday, everybody drops what they're doing and learns.
