Portal Hypertension and Cirrhosis

Pulmonary arterial hypertension is treated with pulmonary vasodilator therapy, anything from oral PDE5 inhibitors or endophilin receptor antagonist all the way up to parenteral prostacycline for our most severe patients. We have an abundance of drugs that we use for pulmonary hypertension in general. Michael, as you said, these all consequences of portal hypertension that's happened with cirrhosis. And now I feel like that thinking is evolved and I've certainly seen patients who have this dysfunctional vascular regulation, an association of cirrhosis and actually have both conditions.
