Old Testament and Egyptology

Analyzing the exodus really involves two academic fields, egyptology proper and old testament studies. There aren't a lot of experts who can professionally traverse both disciplines. I've advocated a third way approaching the text, what i call the phenomena logical approach to studying the bible. And that's the road i'm on as a historian and a archaeologist.
