Microsoft's Bill Gates Letter - The Apple II

Bill Gates published after the death of Paul on a few weeks ago and it talks about this. My Microsoft year-end revenue is with total $2.4 million in 1979 and our staff would more than double the 28. The Apple II went from 35,000 units to 1979 to 210,000 units two years later and made a notable dent in the small business market. We sold approximately $25,000 soft cards. That's the name of the product they made in 1981 alone worth about $8 million in sales.
