Is Science a Grounding for a Shared View of the World?

In the past 30 years or so, we've seen a really fascinating shift where religious narratives provided a sense of purpose, direction, value, teleology. But with the introduction of these complex sciences, you're beginning to see a kind of shared scientific narrative that has some elements of what used to be great value fromreligious narratives.
