Dostoevsky lost his father and Freud seemed to believe that that kicked off his epileptic fits. He was arrested and thrown into Siberia in which the whole time he was there his epilepsy stopped. Punished for what? For wishing death upon his own father. I think it's a testament to crime and punishment is an impoloration, a behest for us to live valiantly,. courageously, consciously truthfully and to hold ourselves to accountHold our head high with dignity and stride boldly forth carrying our own cross or perhaps not.
