Constant's Intentions Are Not Just About Politics, but About Artistic Liberty

Cause constant wanted to get away from the emphasis on community as standing above an individuals. I think he rightly was interested in giving individuals m the time to do other stuff, not just related to politics. And so i think the constant is very well intended in trying to combine political liberty with other kinds of freedom. But the way he equates individual liberty with pure commerce is perhaps the main problem - it deprives us of the time we need to do other Stuff.
