What Is Dissociation?
The English word dissociation comes from a Latin root, dissosazio, which means to sever or to separate. The common examples that are given are zoning out, daydreaming, getting a little foggy. Also challenging you to consider how behaviors like scrolling at your phone can be a way that we sever or separate.
