Are Metaphors Essential for Communication?
i think metaphor is essential for communication, but not for discovery. i don't think that metaphors are just for popularizing or dumming down science to the ignorant public. We need a more straightforward closure which might actually generate some use. And and let's supply olcam's razor and just say, come on, guys. It's a better idea just to think we we've got it wrongthe mathematics doesn't make a sense in this way, and we need to think again.
