Was There a Sense of Interest From France in What Was Going on in America?
analytic philosophy has started coming into france and being well read. Was there a sense that somehow what's going on in america is important if rer wanted to present his own thought as coming from gnostic thinkers at princeton? That's kind of cultural question i don't actually know the answer to. I think, exactly this issue you're raising, then its aspect of geo philosophy on how and why french philosophy became a big thing in the states.
