The Calls to Action Aren't So Intractable
A new study shows that corporate America's 50 biggest public companies and their foundations committed forty nine point five billion, with a b, to addressing racial inequality. Two banks, j p morgan chase and bank of america, account for nearly all of those commitments. The amount commit ed is actually less than one % of the net income earned from these 50 companies. And in that forty five billion, only 71 million went specifically to criminal justice organizations.
