The Minister of Finance and the Reserve Bank's Money Printing Program

An independent inquiry into the Reserve Bank's monetary policy has been called for. Minister of Finance Michael de Jong says he would welcome such a review. He said there was an 'open question' about whether it had been properly thought through. The government is now running losses of around nine and a half billion dollars on that money printing program, according to Dejong.
