I started as a sole proprietor, which basically meant you're just a guy who sells stuff like sole proprietor in Canada. I didn't have professional liability insurance for our business until seven or eight years into it. That's the story you will hear of people that have built businesses that you admire. But none of that matters if you don't nail the first stuff. And then at number five, maybe do all the other business stuff. Or don't.
