i get really frustrated when i see these terms being used with definitions different than what i've come to know them as. I guess the importance of having it now is that without it, maybe this concept wouldn't be identified. People accused singer song writer billy ilish of queer baiting in 20 21 after she posted photos from her music video. That happens a lot in all sorts of areas of language. If we want progress normalizing queer things, is how it gets codified legal support.
