The FTC and the FTC Enforcement in the US - Is That a Good Idea?

I think we're starting to see a shift in the States. The California Attorney General was doing a proactive enforcement sweep, which you do not see out of Europe traditionally. So with that proactive stance, the risk of being found out is slightly higher. In both the Sephora case and in all the FTC enforcement cases, the fine is only part of the issue. But they also need to fix all of the compliance issues. Then they have to build out a privacy team and maintain it for two years.
