Graduate Tax

The way student loans are run, sold to graduates makes them essentially a graduate tax. It only applies to graduates who started their university courses after two thousand and nine when the fees went up to over nine thousand a term. A gradua earning more than about 27 thousands pounds would be paying forty two pence in tax on every extra pound that they earned. And one earning over 50 thousand would be paying 52 pence, so more than half on every additional pound that you earn. So ar interesting double standard there, i think. Yes.
