How Did You Get Your First Draft Completed?

I began to work on it in my last year at film school, which was really the second year I did in film school. It had been inspired by flipping through old holiday albums that summer at my mom's house and being struck by how young my dad looked. But I think in a lot of ways it was a continuation of that first short film. It is a continued exploration of grief. And I think I still had something to discover for myself about that and about that time in my life and something more to say on film.
