The Tyres in the Mercedes GP
Lewis Hamilton wanted to start on a used set of enters because they come up to temperatures more quickly. He was getting wheelspin and fourth gear at one point in the early labs. The radio message about the tyres came after Bono gave him the gaps to signs ahead, which is 2.5 seconds into Norris behind. As soon as he got those gaps, he was like, see, I told you, we should have been on those other tyres. But that was before he got up to signs. So I think it was just already a frustrating race that signs was ahead of him.
