Is Put Slash Call Really Useful?
The worst thing in the world is having a directional view, getting it right, but being, you know, running out of time on your options. That's just when you're going to try and avoid. So I look at skew pricing to get a read on whether skew is pricing some super extreme tail that is now fully priced in like peak panic or skew is diverging from market direction. It gives me also a sense of whether I want to be leaning net long or short options.
