How to Bet on a Pending Reversal in the Equity Markets
In our case, we have gone short equity, something like seven or eight times in the last five years. Every single one of those trades has been a loss because we would go short when the market starts turning down and then QE comes out Or something comes out and the market goes right back up. In 2008, obviously, played out extremely well in high double digits returns in the cost industry. There's not too much of that good bets and bad bets. That's right. There's four good bets that win, bad bets that win and good bets that lose and bad bets that lose.
