Does Caffeine Cause High Blood Pressure?

The risk is less so from the caffeine use itself, but rather in so far as it can mask the impact of alcohol such that you can end up getting much more toxicity from that side of things. If you become a habitual drinker, then there's really no effect on blood pressure. There are some studies for habitual consumers that show an actual anti-hypertensive effect with coffee. It may be due to the other stuff that's in the coffee itself, not the caffeine with energy drinks.
