The Argument for a Plurality With Causes
I think my one worries a little bit about this idea that the pluralities would be set to, to have causes. I mean, if you don't have some principle of composition at work or something like that, at virtue of which the plurality is something over and above its individual members. How do you justify the idea that this plurality has a cause that's distinct from the causes of its members? You could have like a disjunctive kind of cause where you explain each of the members. Well, I'm okay with that. So I'm actually okay with a plurality having another plurality as its cause. Right.
