Crescent sign is a sub-conjoural leucency and what that does it represents that there's delamination of the cartilage. You're not looking at how many millimeters is this wide you're looking at the angle that involves the osteonacrosis kind of a like a clock face where if it involves half of it then it's probably going to collapse versus versus not. This gives you a more objective measure of using angles rather than just kind of subjectively looking at him being like oh that lesion is big versus small.
