The Importance of Having a Home Corner

There will be children that will need a lot more support than other children in using some of these things, and I think we've got to be careful that we don't say we're not doing it because that cohort aren't ready for it. If we're giving children real plates at lunchtime, then why are we not giving them real plates in the home corner? And if they're having access to adult scissors at home, then we'vegot to question the types of scissors we perhaps provide for them in our nursery classPerhaps.
