Chat GPT is software that uses artificial intelligence to read a submission and then ask the students questions related to the style and content. It only has knowledge up to 2021 so that means I guess that journalists are kind of safe for now. But if you were at home with access to the internet what's to stop you from just feeding that back into chat GPT to answer? So it seems like you can get around this. If writing is organized thinking then what we end up robbing ourselves of is not the final product but all of the mishigas you went through to create the final product.
