How to Tell the Story of God's Pursuit of Us

Hymns like the christ hymn, and in philippians too, is all about to set down self sacrifice. God's pursuit of us calls back for us to pursue other people in the way that we've been pursued. There may be points of harmony and there may points of dissonance between the culture that we inhabit and the kingdom of god. When you put it side by side, you might be able to point out some things that you might say, there's harmony here, and there could be dissonance here.
