Horseshoe Bats - How Do They Exist?
Pine martins can eat bats, which is a particular risk with the horseshoe bat. In summer, pine martins can be quite boisterous and they can upset the bata maternity roosts causing the bats to vacate. So one of the ways of monitoring them is just to look and count them in buildings.
