The Evolution of Parallel Processing
By default humans are pretty good at parallel processing and pretty bad at sequential processing so we do have the ability like I said to do long operations but we kind of run out of working memory fairly quickly. This was also something that John von Neumann noted very late in his life he did a lecture called the computer and the brain. Yeah do you know it? It's basically a question of how do we think brains work because I think it was written in the 40s or maybe early 50s right. So there used to be a kind of clean division and almost I'm gonna forget the name of this principle can you remember?
