What Is the Question I Should Ask?

The key to this concept lies in understanding that when we accept the negative experience, it becomes a positive experience. In zen buddhism, there's a little story, an analogy, that i think fits well here with this notion of the backwards law. If you try to not be lonely, you'll feel miserable all by yourself. But if you accept loneliness, you can befriend that feeling, and you'll actually welcome it like an old friend. And you won't feel alone when you're sitting with it. Isn't that crazy?
