"There is no reason why anyone would take care of anything, not because they're assholes," he says. "If you keep taking care of everything, there is no reason for anyone to do anything else." He's a high functioner and I'm a little bit slower at things like loading the dishwasher or looking up directions when we're traveling. The fact is she can do it better. But is that really better in the end because then the over functioner really could take over every damn thing?
