Introduction
Claire O'Neill is Managing Director of Climate and Energy at the WBCSD. Between 2017 and 2019, she was Minister of State for Climate and Energy under Theresa May's government. In that role, she pioneered the UK's Clean Growth Plan,. She laid the groundwork for the UK to become the first major economy to target net zero emissions in 2050. Claire led the charge to secure COP26 for Glasgow, which will take place later this year.
