The Barbaric Ritual of Baby Jumping
In a centuries old practice hundreds of people gather in India to petition the gods for what else? Good luck, good health, long life and success. They do this by asking a chief priest to smash a coconut over their heads. And this barbaric practice continues because it is sacred. It's part of our heritage, it's part of the way we've always done it and always should.
