What Are the Most Important Policies to People?
In nation scape, we offer people two different states of the world on baskets of policy positions. We ask them: Would you rather live in world a or world b? Neither one is going to be perfect, but which would you choose? And so if they choose the world with the wall on the border, we know that's more important to them than their position on abortion. If they choose the abortion position that matches their position, we now we've previously asked them what they prefer,. So we're forcing people to make trade offs. They don't care about identity inflected things like taxes on the rich and middle income falling down any more. That's how we can see these
