An autonomous electric truck could price at $0.03 per 10 mile, that's less than half the cost of a human-driven diesel truck today. For local batch delivery, this is a robot that travels in integrated traffic. We see prices of $5 to $10 today for Amazon Whole Foods, DoorDash, Uber Eats and misfresh in China. Drones will still be, by far and large, a less expensive option, but they will be dramatically less expensive in countries with high fees.

Based on our updated assumptions on pricing, ARK estimates that autonomous logistics revenue could scale from nearly zero today to $1-2 trillion by 2030. Autonomous delivery charges could range from $0.20 to $10 per trip.
