The Relationship Between Public Self and Private Self

Do you find that those things can not quite clap together? Like, do you now kind of feel more comfortable in the public mode? Or does it always feel like a strange extension of something what you're asked to do when you write books? I think it's really hard to have a separation in this sort of day and age, isn't it? So I don't really feel like there's that kind of much difference.
