Is There a White Jesus in the Church?
I remember growing up watching Good Times. And this is the first time we saw a painting of a black Jesus. I was like, whoa, that's radical, but that's not accurate. You know what I mean? They parents have that same painting in their house. But then when I read Malcolm X and he talked about Jesus was a white. No, absolutely not. There's no way Jesus was white. Yeah. There's a lot of white supremacy in the church that wants you to think. Even if you look at the illustrations and the Book of Mormon stories, picture books and things like that, the Lamanites are always dark and the Nephites are always white people
