We're Going to Speak in Contrast

We should remind ourselves that one of the teaching styles that Jesus employs is to speak in contrast. When you speak in stark contrast, it's easier to see the lessons and the principles. He often uses extreme cases to illustrate a point because it's much more memorable. And as we close today, our invitation is to truly look to God and worship him and love him rather than be so ingrained in our own culture with how things have been taught before.
