The Challenge of Slowing Down Bad Speech
CNN's John Defterios and David Bianculli debate the problem of bad speech on social media. The answer may not be content moderation or censorship, but there are other things that can be done, technological and otherwise to address the problem. If you had to identify two or three of the most constructive, non legal solutions to the problem of unreason on line, what would they be? I'm generally not in favor of requiring people across all platforms to have real names. But i think there's a historical value in anonymous speech.
