Researchers have fiddled with different models of the early earth. They've figured out how to assemble lots of different building blocks of life. The problem is all of these things are so incredibly hard to make. A couple of research groups are toying with a kind of solution to this problem.
How did life on Earth start? To help answer that, researchers are trying to create some life for themselves.
